I think that it is very important for people to have creative hobbies like Photography, and I think that these filters and photo filters and other such things that are now available to people make creativity more accessible than it’s ever been in the past people always criticize technology for making people lazier and less creative, whereas I think that it can actually have the exact opposite effect. I think that technology puts more information at people’s hands than ever before. If people are just going to sit at their computer, and not do anything creative at all, those are probably the same type of people that wouldn’t have been creative in the past, either. Not everybody is creative. And not everybody enjoys practicing and art or craft at a high level. Some people are more practical than that. My creative hobbies are certainly impractical, but I do derive so much benefit from them that they could be seen as essential to my mental and emotional well-being in life. I wouldn’t argue with that. As a matter of fact, I would fully support that claim. I truly believe that creativity is very important for a life well-lived, in one way or another. I think that photo filters, and the whole Instagram culture that has risen over these last few years, can actually be totally amazing in terms of giving people creative Outlet. It doesn’t take being a professional to find some fulfillment in it. As a matter of fact, some of the people I know that prefer Instagram over other social media platforms don’t have thousands of followers or anything like that, they just like taking photos and sharing them with a few hundred of their friends, and eventually a few other strangers tag along for the Journey too. That may not seem like much to you, but too many people that is a huge achievement.
